Wendy is a local DJ with a passion for old-school psychedelic trance music. His musical journey began as a young guitarist with an affinity for jazz, where he developed a keen ear for syncopated rhythms and intricate melodies. These early influences continue to shape his approach to trance, infusing his sets with a distinctive blend of groove and complexity.
As a DJ, Wendy is dedicated to unearthing fresh and hidden tracks, often drawing from both vinyl and digital archives. His performances are characterised by an exploration of the vast musical landscape within psychedelic trance, spanning sub-genres from progressive and minimal to psytrance and goa trance.
Having played at venues such as Hangaren and Den Anden Side, as well as outdoor DIY parties in Copenhagen, Wendy’s selection offers a deep dive into the authentic psychedelic sounds he is passionate about.
Wendy is also part of Quake, a bunker collective shared between friends and located beneath the trees of Østre Anlæg. The collective is a space where music is shared, ideas are exchanged, and both DJ and production projects come to life. Alongside Scano, Wendy has released music, with both collaborations and his own productions coming up soon.
