Sally C is a Berlin-based DJ and producer known for her distinctive sound, fusing vintage house, hip house, acid, and breakbeat under her label Big Saldo’s Chunkers.
Her DJ journey began in 2010 at Dundee’s Reading Rooms, where she honed her craft with a strong foundation in authenticity, community, and independence. Sally’s 2019 Boiler Room debut marked a turning point, and she was praised for her musical range.
In 2020, she launched her label ‘Chunkers’, drawing inspiration from ’88–’98 hip house and US house era. Her tracks like ‘Let’s Get This’ and ‘Downtown’ have since become underground classics, built on chunky bassline, banging drums and a trippy vocal.
As a resident at Berlin’s Refuge Worldwide, Sally uses her monthly show to champion emerging artists, further cementing her influence on the scene.
