Bad Boombox’s rapid ascent had its starting point during the lockdown, when the Bulgarian-American DJ started posting techno memes and groovy mixes on TikTok. His playful and carefree approach to the scene quickly landed him gigs on the biggest stages, from Intercell to FLY Open Air.
He co-founded the label Hot Meal Records, as an attempt to bring colour and positive energy back into the current techno state of affairs. Standout tracks from his already impressive catalogue include the bouncy ‘Boots’, the trippy ‘There’s Another’ and the fan’s favourite ‘Medulla’.
