We are thrilled to invite visionary artists to join us in the creation and shaping Distortion Ø electronic music festival taking place on Refshaleøen from 31 May – 1 June 2024.
We want to celebrate and connect the pulsating beats of electronic music with captivating installations. We invite all sorts of projects – big or small, light installations or sculptures, sensory experiences or visual mapping and more.
Your work will be placed at one of the four zones at the festival. The description of zones might spark some creativity or ideas.

What we expect
- Your project must include lighting since most of the festival takes place in the dark
- You will have to bring your own tools, cables due to limited amount
- You will be responsible building and taking down your project
- You are self-sufficient in working on your project in the way that you have what you need to execute. We will support you as much as possible when needed
- Your project must be built or at least assembled on-site within the frames agreed upon in the week leading up to the festival.
