Throughout history, the fountain has served as a natural gathering place, originating from the necessity to have water in the city. The design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen has in collaboration with Fokdahl Springvand created this innovative, new design of a fountain. This fountain serves as a modern interpretation of its antique counterpart, which at the same time is a meeting place in itself. Our fountain invites you to interact with each other with the two buzzers that must be pressed simultaneously to activate the fountain.

Alors on Danse is here to make sure you dance the night away. Get ready to salsa your way onto the dance floor, followed by a Dance Schools Get Down with local dance schools like Hotsteppers, Global Kidz and CPH Dans. Star choreographer Toniah Pedersen and local dance hero Anastasija Olescuka will host an epic dance competition for Copenhagen’s young, talented dancers. BODYSLAM!, the association behind this spectacular event, is known for hosting sold-out shows nationwide, so prepare yourself for a thrilling experience.
Top-shelf entertainment awaits alongside star wrestlers such as “The Get High Bad Guy” Michael Fynne, the super athlete Carlos Zamora, the Mokaï mates RandersPagne, “The Apex of Scandinavia” Emilian Lewis, and many others. Get set for the NBRO 1 km race, a collaboration between Distortion and Copenhagen’s top running community NBRO. Save the date for May 30th, when Distortion takes over Nørrebro. The 1000m sprint down Nørrebrogade will culminate at the iconic Dronning Louises Bro, starting at 15.45, just before the street transforms into a festive celebration of Copenhagen. This race will feature 200 of Denmark’s fastest runners — pros and happy amateurs alike — in an urban setting amidst the first Nørrebro Street Party in 5 years. This race will be unlike any other.

In 2021, the beloved Danish hot dog cart celebrated its 100th anniversary. The hot dog cart is more than just a place to eat; it is a social hub, bringing people together over a shared love for deliciousness. At the heart of Nørrebrogade, we are setting up two classic hot dog carts. One serves up all your favourites on the grill, while the other swaps out the sausage and remoulade for four DJs spinning tasty electronic tunes.

Redhead Rave is Copenhagen’s first ever event hosted by redheads for redheads. All are welcome, both the naturals and the coloured!
Near the beautiful lakes of Copenhagen, a limousine and a red carpet will set the scene for an ecstatic 90-minute long celebration of all the beautiful red-haired people to the beats by music-maestro El Marve Picante with the most impressive moustache.
Join the party and mingle with fellow redheads and warm up for a day full of festivities at Distortion Nørrebro Street Party. The first 100 redheads will receive sunscreen and a Tuborg Rød (for those over 18), so be sure to arrive early.
While the Readhead Rave is primarily for redheads, non-redhead family, friends, and fans are more than welcome, as long as they come with love in their hearts.

BørneDistortion is a space created for the kids to participate in activities, workshops, and enjoy a concert or two. We believe in the importance of giving a voice to the younger generation, and we’re doing so by creating a platform for kids to express themselves and their dreams through art and creativity.
In collaboration with Nørrebro Bibliotek, Bette Café, Den Bemandede Legeplads, Høreforeningen, and many more we have created an interactive, magical day full of art, music, and creative workshops. There will of course be great opportunities to indulge in an ice cream or a hot dog – and don’t worry there will also be coffee for the adults.
Take a stroll through the Assistens Cemetery and bring your kids or grandkids to Hans Tavsens Park and let them explore their creative minds.
