Alors on Danse is returning to Nørrebro here to make sure you dance the night away. Get ready to salsa your way onto the dance floor, followed by a Get Down with local dance schools House of Momentum, Global Legacy, CPHdans, Danseplaneten, Gaardbodans, STEPZ Dansestudie, Hotstepper, All in One, and Beatjump. Look forward to the Smooth Operator Battle—an all-styles dance competition where teams of three dancers, each representing a different genre, will compete to R’n’B and throwback tracks, with DJ Indigo spinning live all the way from Stockholm! To close out the night, the extraordinary dancer and performer Datif will take you on a journey through the world of Amapiano.

BørneDistortion will once again transform Hans Tavsens Park into a space filled with creativity, magic, and music – and invites all the city’s children to the year’s biggest children’s party! AND it’s still completely FREE!
Together with Action Børnehjælp (Action Children’s Aid), Musik og Ungdom (Music and Youth), Rum for Opfindsomhed (Space for Inventiveness), DTU (Technical University of Denmark), Høreforeningen (The Danish Association of Hard of Hearing People), and many more, we are creating an event that is both entertaining and educational. Here, children will have space to play, learn, and express themselves. The day is a celebration of the city’s children, creating space for community and learning through play, activities, and music.
We have a program from 1 PM to 6 PM packed with a wealth of activities for younger children aged 3-12.
If you feel like bringing out your inner artist and unfolding your creativity, drawing big and small thoughts from everyday life, dancing, finding your zen with a good session of yoga – and not least experiencing some super talented young artists perform on stage – then this is the perfect place!

We’re firing up an alcohol-free yard party in Union’s backyard in Nørrebro – for all young people who love music, community, and good vibes. It will be an event filled with rap, beats, DJ sets, and new talents from Turning Tables Denmark and other music communities in and around Copenhagen – all delivered by young people who have something to say.
The Yard Party is the place where you and your friends can meet, discover new artists, and feel the genuine energy that only music can create. We’re talking about music that comes straight from the heart – stories, feelings, and beats that we can all relate to. It’s about being yourself, expressing yourself, and being part of something bigger.

Join us for the Danish Championship in stone skipping, hosted by Careless confetti.
The event is open and inclusive, with a cosy vibe for everyone to enjoy. A relaxed feeling will flow among the participants, syncing with the rhythm of the skipping stones, while emotional exclamations build up, causing the rest to smile like children. It all arises when people come together and give nature the attention it rightfully deserves. As the stones glide across the water’s surface, stress flows away with the ripples, and life’s appreciation is reinforced in its simplest form.
Everything will be timed and organized with leadership that unites us. The tournament will begin at 17:30 with over 150 stones: starting with group rounds, followed by the semis and then the grand final. The prize ceremony is expected at 18:15.

Get a fade on the asphalt with over 10 local barbers on Nørrebrogade and its side streets!
The city is constantly evolving. But one shop will never disappear from the streetscape: the hairdressers! No matter what happens in the world, you’ll always need a trim on the sides and a cut on the ends.
There is tough competition today on Nørrebrogade with hairdressers on almost every street corner. But at Distortion Nørrebro they’ll team up for the first time and bring their shops out to the street party! You’ll meet over 10 local barbers ready to cut your hair: Afro Barber Shop, Barber Mahmmud, S.A. Shop, Salon Cairo, Salon Minna, Salon Sendbad, Star Barber.
Together, they’ll create a whole fade parade down Nørrebrogade and in the small side streets. A fresh fade, a little trim to the ends, or a completely new hairstyle — they can handle it all!

HundeDistortion returns to Nørrebro’s ByOasen with more than ten local dog stores and clinics collaborating to create Copenhagen’s best party for both you and your furry friend.
Let your dog shine like the superstar they are with a makeover at Honey Doggy Saloon and a stroll down the red carpet, while indulging them with snacks from Natural Dogfood, 4Benede Venner, MÆT Pets, and many more at the food bazar.
Loosen the leash a tiny bit and who knows, your dog might just catch the eye of a new friend or two in Copenhagen’s buzzing doggy dating corner.
Of course, it would not be Distortion without some funky tunes, so DJ-duo HEJLEIF will bring some treats in the form of a special doggy mix to keep the atmosphere lively.

Get set for the NBRO 1 km race, a collaboration between Distortion and Copenhagen’s top running community NBRO. Save the date for Thursday 5 June, when Distortion takes over Nørrebro. The 1000m sprint down Nørrebrogade will culminate at the iconic Dronning Louises Bro, starting at 15.45, just before the street transforms into a festive celebration of Copenhagen. This race will feature 200 of Denmark’s fastest runners — pros and happy amateurs alike — in an urban setting amidst the return of Nørrebro Street Party. This race will be unlike any other.
